While at Gameday Media I managed layout, design, and production of 40-80 page, printed magazines and booklets provided to high school athletic programs around the U.S. and Canada. Production schedules consisted of three seasonal timelines with strict print and delivery deadlines.
Approximately 65 books a year were manufactured in-house using digital and offset printing presses. I gained valuable hands-on experience in the print industry while working under pressure in a fast-paced creative environment.
Production consisted of 25 books for fall football season (April-Sept.), 20 books for winter basketball season (Sept-Jan.), and 15 books for spring baseball season (Jan.-April).
Design, digital illustration, photo manipulation and type treatment were used not only for the page layout, but for the 45 book covers for the 2012 and 2013 football seasons and 35 covers for 2012 basketball and baseball seasons.
